Lot 61 Canada #16 1859, 10c black brown Consort, unused, with part original gum, perforated 11¾, rich deep colour characteristic of this first printing, sealed tear at foot and small stain near upper right, the odd typical perf flaws, else a remarkable example of this elusive Decimal issue, of which very few original gum examples remain, particularly with such very fine centering.
