Sale #21 Followup

Auction #21 was completed yesterday just before 6:00pm. Prices Realized from the sale can be seen on Stamp Auction Network or downloaded from our site at this link. Starting on Monday, we will begin highlighting some of the better and more interesting realizations from the sale.

We are now organizing material and preparing invoices, which will take us through next week. Invoices will be sent by e-mail or in the post to those who require. While we will not usually interrupt our work to take your phone call, all calls and e-mails will be answered as soon as we can provide the information you are seeking. We ask your patience while we rearrange 1300+ lots so they are ready to be shipped to 300+ buyers.

Buyers who pick up their auction winnings at our offices can do so beginning the week of June 6th, by appointment. Appointments can be made by e-mail or telephone starting on June 1st; please wait for our confirmation before coming to the office. While the building at 1550 Carling is closed on Saturdays, we will do our best to accommodate customers who can only come on the weekend.

Once again, Sparks Auctions is proud to offer a great sale, including material for all budgets and collecting interests. Of note in this two day sale is an important consignment of Canada Admirals in 125 lots, ranging from XF singles to Plate inscriptions and Lathework, to shades, etc. Canada is also well represented by nice quality classics to modern varieties and many postal history lots throughout, which remain very popular to our customers.

The rest of the world includes many better early GB, a very specialized Austria collection offered intact in one lot of stamps plus one of postal history. France is well represented with many single lots plus a retired dealer’s valuable early stock, offered in 22 lots, each containing one black dealer book full of ready-to-sell 102 cards. Also of note are several lots of seldom-offered worldwide forgeries, offered in single lots and collections. Our popular lots and collections section continues to offer worldwide single country collections, from A to Z, which is sure to have something for every collector.

We remind our customers that all Scott catalogue values are given in US Dollars (not converted) and that with the Canadian Dollar at a low rate, our American customers have an opportunity to save money on their purchases.

There are many hundreds more high quality scans in our online listing at stampauctionnetwork.com. We will have corrections and additions here on our site as they are noted, as well as daily features of interesting highlights from the sale.
