Lot 685 India 1887, multi-colour franking cover, registered from Afghanistan, with eleven adhesives, two on back, each tied by KABUL squared circle, handstamped “REGISTERED / KABAUL”, to Fargo, Dakota, United States, “REGISTERED LIVERPOOL 15 NO 87”, “REGISTERED LONDON” and “NEW YORK 11 26 1887” transit markings, embossed “Government of India” imprint on back flap, reduced at left, some edge wear, a scarce and colourful franking.
