Lot 944 New Zealand Mint and Used Collection on Black Stock Pages, 1855-1993, a comprehensive collection of mainly mint issues, it starts with 32 different Chalon Heads, four of which are mint. The 1874-95 issues are a mix of mint and used, but from 1898 to 1993 all of the stamps are mint hinged or never hinged. One of the strengths of the collection is in the back of the book, with complete semi-postals, airmails, and nearly complete postal fiscals, postage dues, life insurance and officials. There are way too many better issues to list here, but what follows is only a small listing: the used include #s 4, 5, 7, 11, 9a, 10a, 15d, 28, 30, 34, 46, 69, AR4, AR7, AR9-12, OY4-6, OY17, etc., while the mint include #s 11d, 27, 29, 49 (NH), 55-56, 58-60, 61-68, 70-83, 86C-98, 107-20, 122-25, 130-39, Auckland Exhibition 130e-37e, 145-49, 165-76, 182-83, 185-98, 203-16 (with most NH), 286-301, 333-52, B1-4, B5-7, B8-144, C1-3 (NH), C4-8, E1-2, J1-11, J16-29, O23-30, O31, O33-37, O38-39, O41-50, O52-53, O55-56, O57, O58-111, OY1-3, OY8-9, OY12, OY18-56, etc. The mint postal fiscals are very strong and two have certificates: AR39 and AR44.
