In avoiding the car, the plane was badly damaged and could not continue, so the letters were forwarded by train. Cancelled Lethbridge Jun 21, 1922 (machine slogan). These special envelopes were sold for $1 each and this one is addressed to the co-pilot Lt. Harry Fitzsimmons. Small piece missing in top left corner, else very fine, with advertising on back.
