Lot 290, Canada 1970 Natural Resources definitives production essays

Lot 290 Group of c.1970 Unissued 1c to 20c Natural Resources Definitive Issues Production Essays, with a set of the seven values (1c, 2c, 4c, 5c, 6c, 10c and 20c) in large deluxe die essays showing two images of the proposed stamp, in stamp size and enlarged, each in a different colour (the 1c has a stain at bottom). The same seven values are present in an enlarged size with perforations, all in the proposed colours, each mounted on a larger plastic film. The same seven values (in the proposed colours) are presented on large portfolio sheet printed by the designers at their Montreal design office in 2019. Also in the same format are two sheets showing stamp positioning formats. Last but not least is a perforated stamp-sized essay in green and black on thin card. All items in this lot (except the last item described) are signed by their two designers Jean Morin and Yvon Laroche. The project was titled “Projet d’une série de timbres sur les richesses naturelles du Canada” and therefore the 10c depicts fish and the 20c depicts trees. Estimate C$1,000.
