Lot 583 Nyasaland Protectorate, SG#130S/143S 1938 ½d to £1 KGVI Keyplates or Symbol of Colony with Diagonal (low values) or Curved (high values) Perforated SPECIMEN, mint never hinged (except 2sh6d and 5sh which have no gum), fresh and very fine except for the £1 with three small scuffs at top, and the 10sh which has light gum toning. Lot 250 Canada #44ii 1895 8c Small Queen with Major Re-Entry on Cover, mailed from Maitland, Ont. (MAY.3.1895 free strike broken circle) to Floral Park, NY, with hand made “R” handstamp, franked with a single 8c to pay the registered rate. The stamp has the major-re-entry, visible in the left “8”, under CENTS, oval under Queen’s neck, and a few other places, very fine. Ex. John Hillson. Lot 1398 Canada #106xiii 1915 2c deep rose red Admiral Experimental Coil Paste-Up Strip of Four, mint never hinged, with each stamp signed JNS (Jim N. Sissons). Quite fresh and with all stamps very fine centered, unlisted in Unitrade as a paste up strip or as very fine centered. All these attributes together make this a desirable strip. Ex.
