Lot 454 Canada #F1i 1880s 2c orange red Registration Stamp, a mint plate block of 20, with full original gum, hinge re-inforced in many places, leaving four stamps never hinged. The margin at right shows a complete printer’s imprint and there are two partial ones at top and bottom, plus a counter “2” in top margin. This lovely block possesses a particularly bright colour and most stamps are very fine centered. From the Azilda Collection. Estimate $750, sold for C$1,000.00 plus 15% buyer’s premium.
