Lot 742 Newfoundland #C5 1930 50c on 30c Columbia Flight Surcharge, mint never hinged, fresh and fine-very fine. A lovely example of this stamp, with only 300 having been surcharged, of which 100 were used on cover and probably very few of the remaining 200 are this fresh and especially never hinged. Accompanied by a 2013 Greene Foundation certificate stating that it is from position 3 (lower left) of the overprint setting. Unitrade CV$18,000.

Lot 674, Newfoundland 1857 one shilling scarlet vermilion Heraldic, VF unused
Lot 674 Newfoundland #9 1857 1sh scarlet vermilion Heraldic Imperforate, unused (no gum), with four clear to large margins, close at bottom right. A lovely stamp with bright, fresh colour, very fine. There is, however a very small repaired crease at bottom right, not mentioned in the certificate. Ex. Robert Pratt. Unitrade CV$35,000.
