Lot 81 — Canada 1897 two cent deep green Small Queen, used, with doubling
Lot 81 Canada 1897 2c deep green, used with strong doubling of the lower portion of the design. A truly exceptional example of this dramatic error, with large margins and ideal centrally cancelled with a crisp and clear Louise Bridge, Manitoba datestamp, JA.12.1897 (post office open 1896 to 1910). This is the stamp illustrating the variety in Unitrade (catalogue value is for fine only), extremely fine and rare. (Unitrade 36f)
