Lot 66 Canada #16 1859 10c black brown Consort, Perforated 11¾, a used single from the first printing (order 1A), with ideal light cancel and very pleasing centering for this difficult issue. This stamp possesses rich colour and a crisp impression, plus an unlisted re-entry, purported to be from plate position 46 (doubling of top frameline). Corner crease at top left, ending in a small tear at top, still a very fine appearing stamp. Accompanied by a 2009 Greene Foundation certificate. Unitrade CV $8,500.
