Lot 3714 REVELSTOKE B.C. a 50% strike on a 3c Small Queen, showing REVELS… and B at bottom, plus AU of the date (probably 1893). Only four examples are known, all on 3c Small Queen stamps, this one was discovered in England in 1985. Very fine. RF 250. From the Kerzner Squared Circles. Estimate $4000.
Lot 332, New Brunswick 1859 six pence yellow green imperf pair on cover
Lot 332 New Brunswick #2 6d yellow green Heraldic Imperforate Horizontal Pair on 1859 cover mailed St Stephen (OCT.24.1859 dispatch on back) to St George NB, franked with a very fine pair of 6d imperforates (cancelled by fine strikes of the St Stephen NB numeral 30 in grid) paying the 12 pence registered rate within New Brunswick. Two creases do not affect stamps, and slightly reduced at top, else very fine. Ex. John Seybold (with his handstamps on back), Dale Liechtenstein, Koh and mentioned in Argenti on page 46. A world rarity with only three recorded, and accompanied by a 1974 BPA certificate. Estimate $6,000.
