Lot 304 Canada #111b 1912 5c grey blue Admiral Block of Four, mint never hinged, fresh, with two right stamps being extremely fine. Catalogued as very fine. Ex. Lum and accompanied by a 2013 Richard Gratton AIEP certificate. Unitrade CV $4,200, sold for $1,250 plus buyer’s premium.
Lot 310 Canada #16 1912 10c plum Admiral Lathework Block of 8. Mint never hinged, from bottom right of pane (straight edge at right), and with the three left most stamps having the full lathework (Type A). Position 100 stamp has Plate A8 inscription as well as a clear cutting arrow. A remarkably fresh block with all stamps being very fine centered, and a showpiece. Mint, top two stamps hinged and adjoining selvedge reinforced, bottom two stamps never hinged but diagonal crease on right stamp. Ex. Lum and very fine.
