Lot 310Lot 310 Canada #16 1912 10c plum Admiral Lathework Block of 8. Mint never hinged, from bottom right of pane (straight edge at right), and with the three left most stamps having the full lathework (Type A). Position 100 stamp has Plate A8 inscription as well as a clear cutting arrow. A remarkably fresh block with all stamps being very fine centered, and a showpiece. Mint, top two stamps hinged and adjoining selvedge reinforced, bottom two stamps never hinged but diagonal crease on right stamp. Ex. Lum and very fine. Estimate $200, sold for $500 plus buyer’s premium.
