Lot 501 Canada #21b 1868 ½c Black Large Queen on Watermarked Bothwell Paper, used with part 2-ring numeral cancel, showing full letters “MI” of the watermark. The stamp has two shorter perfs and a small thin, still with remarkable centering and one of the finest of the very few known examples. A major rarity of Canadian philately.

Lot 75 Canada #28 1868 12½c Blue Large Queen, a mint block of four, with full original gum, with a few hinge remnants. A well centered block, with only a few tiny toning spots, still very fine.

Lot 206 Canada #26TCP 5c Large Queen Trial Colour Plate Proof in Deep Green, a block of four printed on card, with large margins all around and very fine. A very rare block, as we know of only one other from the Brigham collection. Estimate C$2,500.
Lot 96 Canada #30 1868 15c Bluish Grey Large Queen, mint with original hinged gum, well centered with fresh colour, very fine. Accompanied by a 2021 Greene Foundation certificate erroneously identifying the shade as “grey”. Unitrade CV$240, sold for C$325.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.
Lot 65 Canada #22iii 1868 1c Brown Red Large Queen with “Burr” at Left of Head, used with light grid cancel, a lovely and fresh stamp with four large and balanced margins, two shorter perfs do not detract, very fine. Unitrade only lists this variety as fine, and we believe very fine should be valued for at least double that, if not more. Estimate C$300.
