The cover is lavishly illustrated in full colour for the Alpha Chemical Co. manufacturers of the United Service Shoe Blacking, with further advertising on back. Very fine. Estimate C$150, sold for C$800.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.

Cover has light stains and tears on back, still overall fine and scarce. Ex Gerald Wellburn, and still on one of his hand-made album pages. Catalogue value given is for the three used stamps only, in fine condition, if Wellburn’s information on the inverted watermark is correct. Unitrade CV$2,000, sold for C$2,600.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.
